Compatibility & FAQ
The short version: match the charger to your device's wattage, use a USB-C to USB-C cable for fast charging, and check the table below if you're not sure which one to buy.
Which charger do I need?
Find your device, then pick any charger at or above the "ideal" wattage. A higher-wattage charger is safe — your device only draws what it needs.
| Device | Minimum | Ideal |
|---|---|---|
| iPhone 15 / 16 (all models) | 20W | 30W |
| iPhone 14 and earlier (Lightning) | 20W | 20–30W |
| iPad / iPad Air | 30W | 45W |
| Samsung Galaxy S series | 25W (PPS) | 45W |
| Google Pixel | 30W | 45W |
| MacBook Air (M1–M4) | 30W | 65W |
| MacBook Pro 14" | 67W | 100W |
| Windows ultrabook with USB-C charging | 65W | 100W |
| Nintendo Switch (docked) | 39W | 45W |
| Earbuds, smartwatch, small accessories | 5W | 20W |
The terms on our listings, in plain English
- PD (Power Delivery) — the standard fast-charging protocol for USB-C. If a charger says PD, it fast-charges phones, tablets and laptops that support it.
- PPS — a Samsung-friendly extension of PD. Needed for Super Fast Charging on Galaxy phones.
- GaN — a semiconductor material that lets a charger run cooler in a smaller body. Same power, smaller brick.
- 100–240V input — every charger we sell works on US 120V and EU/UK 230V. You only need a plug adapter when travelling, never a voltage converter.
- Wattage (W) — the maximum power a charger can deliver. Your device decides how much to take.
Does my cable matter?
Yes — more than most people expect. An under-rated cable is the most common reason a fast charger charges slowly.
- 60W USB-C to USB-C — enough for phones, tablets and MacBook Air.
- 100W USB-C to USB-C — needed for 14" laptops and above. These cables carry an e-marker chip that tells the charger it's safe to send full power.
- USB-A to USB-C — can't do PD at all. Expect 10–15W, no matter how powerful the charger is.
Wireless charging basics
- Align the center of your phone with the center of the pad. A few centimeters off and charging slows or stops.
- Cases up to 5 mm thick are fine. Metal cases, magnetic plates and card holders are not.
- Wireless charging is slower than wired by design — that's normal, not a fault.
Can I take a power bank on a plane?
Yes, in your carry-on only — never in checked baggage. Most airlines allow up to 100Wh per power bank without asking:
- 10,000 mAh ≈ 37Wh
- 20,000 mAh ≈ 74Wh
- 27,000 mAh ≈ 100Wh (the usual limit before you need airline approval)
Order and payment questions
Is there a minimum order?
No. Order one cable or ten chargers — there's no minimum and no account required.
Can I cancel or change my order?
Yes, if it hasn't shipped yet. Email us within 24 hours with your order number. Once a parcel is dispatched we can't pull it back, but you can refuse delivery or return it.
Which payment methods do you accept?
Whatever is shown at checkout for your country — typically major debit and credit cards, plus accelerated options where available. Your card details go straight to the payment provider; we never see or store them.
We will never email you asking for card numbers, and we'll never ask you to pay outside our own checkout. If you get a message like that, it isn't from us.
Will I pay sales tax or VAT?
Where tax applies to your destination, it's shown as a separate line at checkout before you pay. Import duties on cross-border orders are separate — see Shipping & Delivery.
Can I ship to a different address from my billing address?
Yes. Enter a separate shipping address at checkout. Double-check it — we can only change an address before dispatch.
Tracking says delivered, but I don't have it
Check safe places, your building's mailroom and with neighbours first — most "missing" parcels turn up within a day. If it's still missing after 48 hours, email us and we'll open a claim with the carrier.
Do I need an account to order?
No. Guest checkout works, and your order confirmation and tracking emails go to whatever address you enter.
Troubleshooting
Why is my phone charging slowly?
Check three things in this order: the cable (is it rated for the wattage?), the port (lint in the connector is common), and the charger's port (a USB-A port won't fast-charge a USB-C phone). If the phone shows "charging" but not "fast charging", the cable is the usual suspect.
Is it normal for the charger to feel warm?
Yes. A charger running at full load can reach 40–50°C (104–122°F) — warm to the touch but not painful. It should never be too hot to hold. Keep it uncovered and out of direct sun.
My laptop says "not charging" — why?
Most laptops need 45W or more to charge while in use, and 65W+ to charge quickly. A 30W charger will run a laptop slowly or not at all. Use a charger at or above your laptop's rated wattage, with a 100W cable if you're above 60W.
My wireless charger keeps stopping and starting
Almost always alignment or a case. Remove the case, center the phone, and check that the pad's indicator light stays steady. Metal objects left on the pad will pause charging by design.
A cable stopped working after a few months of bending
Cables fail at the connector joint, where repeated bending does the most damage. Don't pull cables out by the wire — grip the plug. If a cable fails within 12 months, contact us for a replacement under warranty.
Safety & certifications
Our chargers, cables and power banks carry CE, FCC and RoHS compliance, so they meet the electrical safety, electromagnetic compatibility and restricted-substance requirements for sale in the US and the EU.
Every unit is tested for over-voltage, over-current, over-temperature and short-circuit protection before it leaves the factory. Test reports are available on request — email us with the product name if you need them for a tender, insurer or employer.
- Don't cover a charger while it's in use, and don't use it on bedding or in a closed bag.
- Unplug before cleaning. Never use water or solvents on the pins.
- Stop using any charger or cable with a damaged casing, exposed wire or bent pins.
- Keep small magnetic accessories away from children and from medical implants.
